About the Opportunity
Partnership for a Better San Diego is administering the SEMI Foundation Career Advancement Fund, which seeks to remove or reduce barriers to entry, skill-building, and continued professional growth for individuals pursuing careers in the semiconductor and microelectronics industry. The fund is intended to help cover modest costs that promote career advancement or help remove obstacles that stand in the way of completing training, certification, or job placement.

The purpose of the fund is to:
Reduce financial barriers that prevent trainees and students from completing workforce training, certification, or securing employment in the semiconductor industry.
Support continued skill development and career progression for individuals already engaged with SEMI-affiliated training and education programs.
